Mentorship requires strategy, effort, intentionality.
Waiting for the perfect mentor to appear won’t work. Finding a mentor is an intentional process that requires identifying the right person, reaching out respectfully, and building a mutually beneficial relationship. Success comes from action, not chance.
Take Action: Write down three qualities you’re looking for in a mentor. Next, identify two people in your organization who fit these qualities, and draft a message to start the conversation.
