May 19: Identify Your Decision Types

Two-way doors require swift action.

Recognizing which decisions are reversible (Type 2) versus consequential and irreversible (Type 1) is fundamental to efficient decision-making. Most operational decisions are Type 2 and don't require extensive analysis or approval.

Take Action: Make a quick list of 10 decisions you faced last week. Mark each as Type 1 (irreversible) or Type 2 (reversible). For Type 2 decisions, note whether you treated them with the speed they deserved or if you overanalyzed them.
